With increasing popularity of Instagram and other social media platforms, many of the world’s biggest brands have long started to maintain an “Insta”-presence, harnessing the powers of visual storytelling. Switzerland’s brands are not all quite there yet – but many companies are developing an understanding of the platform’s importance and reach. The weekly advertising and marketing magazine W&V has looked at five of Germany’s most successful Instagram bloggers, some of them reaching up to 410,000 followers, making them potent influencers. Consequently, some say blogger relations is a thing of the past; influencer relations are future. Quite an interesting read – and a harbinger of things to come for the Swiss market?
