Press release Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, 4 December 2019
The company was inspired by similar subscriptions for mobile phones, internet services and television.
By offering fixed-price subscriptions that include unlimited top-ups, evpass makes life easier for users: no more calculations to optimise energy use, no more surprises about the total to be paid, and no more questions about the relationship between the KWh used and the distance travelled.
The evpass Anytime subscription, which costs CHF 120 per month and is invoiced annually, allows users to recharge their vehicles day or night at any public evpass terminal across Switzerland, of which there are currently more than 1,400. Around twenty new charging stations are added each week.
Day and night rates
For those who do not require a comprehensive subscription to cover regular use of an electric vehicle, evpass has created a subscription valid only during the day (evpass Day), and another valid at night (evpass Night).
With these subscriptions, for a flat fee of CHF 90 per month, customers can use the entire network between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., and for CHF 50, the network can be used between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. Outside these hours, each KWh is charged at CHF 0.45.
For all package deals, evpass is offering the first month free to new subscribers.
