Ulrich Schridde (born 1955 in Germany) studied at the Georg-August-University in Göttingen and took a degree in Business Administration in 1978. Ulli has more than 37 years of experience in the metals industry. Since October 2015 Ulli has worked at Aludium as Director of Metal Management and was responsible for metal procurement and metal strategy. Prior to that he worked at Rusal as Director of Sales and was responsible for the European Business. Ulli started his professional career in 1978 as Management Trainee at Unilever, before moving on to Aluminium Producer Alcan in 1981. Later he became responsible for the Metal Management of Novelis in Europe. Ulli has a sound experience in all functions of the metal business, such as Strategy, Sales, Production and Metal Management, as well as Procurement and Hedging. His industry focus is especially with companies in the aluminum sector.
