Green Motion charging stations are being rolled out from Tel Aviv to Mumbai.
Building on the success of its first appearance at CES 2019 (the Consumer Electronics Show), the Vaud-based company is back to Las Vegas with its own booth – double the size of last year’s. For 2020 Green Motion plans to enter the US market with its first UL-certified products.
The world’s first charging station designed by Pininfarina
The charging experience lies at the heart of everything Green Motion does. In the absence of a residential charging station to cater to the high-end international markets, Green Motion joined forces with Pininfarina to launch a wall box conceived by the famous Italian designer and benefiting from Green Motion engineering.
Green Motion unveils the very first charging station resulting from this partnership at CES. Pininfarina is particularly well known for its avant-garde designs for prestigious brands in fields as diverse as cars, yachting and architecture, among others.
An unprecedented product to charge electric aircraft
Since the very beginning more than ten years ago, Green Motion is a true visionary when it comes to charging electric cars; today, the same applies in the field of electric aircraft. Green Motion believes that there is a requirement for a dense, reliable and efficient charging network to facilitate the proliferation of electric aircraft and other UAM (Urban Air Mobility) vehicles.
CES will offer the opportunity to present the FLIGHT XT, Green Motion’s very first charging station capable of charging electric aircraft. The product can already be found in two Swiss airports and has been successfully charging the first electric aircraft for several months already.
